The four-piece, self-proclaimed “heavy pop” ensemble, The Home Team, has unleashed their latest dance-worthy single, “Loud,” accompanied by a cleverly satirical new music video. The new release marks the group’s first since signing with Thriller Records earlier in the year.
Distinguished by the group’s amalgamation of infectiously groovy guitar work, commanding basslines, and the captivating vocal range of Brian Butcher, “Loud” is an exhilarating experience and a damn good time. Complementing the pulsating energy of the track is a satirical music video, cleverly parodying directors and harkening back to the nostalgic vigor of VH1 Classic programming. The video serves as a witty homage, interspersing “facts” about the band and its members, creating a visual narrative that adds an extra layer of entertainment to the already electrifying atmosphere of “Loud.” It’s a perfect blend of musical prowess, tongue-in-cheek humor, and nostalgia that showcases The Home Team‘s ability to deliver not only catchy tunes but also an immersive and entertaining experience for their audience.

Butcher shares about the band’s new single, “Beyond the obviously sexual subject matter of the song, ‘Loud’ is about finding your confidence in giving 110% to things that may be outside of your immediate comfort zone.”
Speaking exclusively with idobi Radio, the group expands, “Despite the fact that it was one of the last songs we wrote for the album, ‘Loud’ ended up being the one we led with because it was such a departure. Most of the album was structured out by May or June of this year. But ‘Loud’ seemed to just happen sort of out of thin air over the summer. We immediately knew that it at least had to be in the first batch of songs. Funny how stuff like that works out sometimes!”
The Home Team is set to head overseas with labelmates Honey Revenge to support The Used on their headline run. Check out the tour dates below and grab tickets here.
