Following the releases of “Kissing In A Coffin,” “Obsessed,” and “Cherry Colored Sweater,” Lake Drive just dropped another hit with “Outta My Mind.” These melodies are perfect for blasting in the car…with the top down, if possible.
The band says, “This is the first time I wrote from someone else’s perspective rather than my own. A dear friend of mine was dealing with a relationship that reminded me of one I had years prior, so I wrote the words to sort of help both of us heal.”
They add, “With that being said, I still feel like it’s the most honest I’ve been with lyrics up to this point, and I’m very hopeful that others will relate deeply to the feeling of betrayal and frenzy that we felt.”
Lake Drive is currently out on a run this summer with Caroline Romano. And they will also appear on idobi Radio Summer School’s stop in Minneapolis. Check out their dates below and grab tickets here.
