Lake Drive just dropped another bop for your listening pleasure, and “Cherry Colored Sweater” will be on loop all summer long. Following the release of “Kissing In A Coffin” and “Obsessed,” this new single will force you out of your seat to shake it.
“These chords and lyrics seemed to spill out of me one late night in my bedroom. It’s funny how looking at the past from an objective few can allow you to write with more emotion and precision,” says lead singer Rayven Burdette. “I was thinking of every failed dalliance in my life and rolled all into one track. A decidedly more pop-oriented melody with natural instrumentation is what makes this track, in my opinion. Terribly excited to see how this resonates with people.”
