Earlier this month, Spiritbox vocalist Courtney LaPlante revealed in an interview with Revolver that the band had a number of new songs waiting to be unveiled following the release of their 2021 debut full-length, Eternal Blue, and their 2022 EP Rotoscope.
LaPlante shared with Revolver, “If everything aligns and we feel really strongly that everything hits exactly how we want — the art and the music and the whole thing around it — we’ll want to put this out as soon as possible.”

The trio is currently on their debut headline tour with support from After The Burial and Intervals. During their opening night, April 10, at Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom, the group performed a massive setlist consisting of 15 tracks including a cover of No Doubt’s “Hella Good” and the debut of a new song, “The Void.” The new track offers LaPlante’s soaring vocal delivery layered over hard-hitting instrumentation. If “The Void” sounds this incredible live, we can’t wait until we get the official release. Check out Spiritbox’s live debut of “The Void” below.
