Life comes at you fast and music news can break even quicker. With all the announcements that happen in a single day, it’s easy to lose track of who’s releasing what, when your favorite artists are hitting the road, and all the mayhem that happens in between. Don’t worry though, we’ve got you covered.

Every week we keep track of the latest in new releases so that you don’t have to—from artists who are just starting to make their mark in the business, to scene staples with so much more to deliver.

This week, we heard singles from a plethora of acts including The Aces and Linkin Park, a fresh LP from Rain City Drive, and a deluxe album from Catch Your Breath. Check it all out below.

Balance and Composure — “with you in spirit” 

For fans of solo drives under cloudy skies.

Balance And Composure dropped the title track of their upcoming LP. Speaking of the album, guitarist and vocalist Jon Simmons says the band was “writing these songs for the pure reason of having an outlet and getting together with your friends, no pressure.” with you in spirit drops October 4 and is available to preorder via Memory Music. They begin their headline tour on October 3 with support from Kevin Devine & The Goddamn Band and Milly. Tickets are available here

The Aces — “The Magic” 

For fans of everything cheeky and playful.

The Aces dropped their first single since the release of their 2023 LP I’ve Loved You For So Long. With groovy hooks and a dance-inducing backtrack, “The Magic” resembles the main subject of the track: “a work of art.” The group is currently on tour with Goth Babe. Soulkeeper — “TIME OUT OF MIND” 

For fans of listening to metal with noise-cancelling headphones, turned all the way up.

To accompany their signing to Pure Noise Records, Soulkeeper dropped their latest track “Time Out Of Mind.” In addition to the single, the metal outfit announced the reissue of their debut album Holy Design, which can be preordered here. Linkin Park — “Heavy Is The Crown” 

For fans of pushing aside everyone’s irrelevant expectations.

In partnership with Riot Games, Linkin Park released “Heavy Is The Crown,” which will also be the League Of Legends World Championship Anthem. “The song is a real highlight of this new era for us, harnessing our signature sound and infusing it with fresh energy,” says Mike Shinoda. The track will be featured on their upcoming album From Zero, which drops November 15 and is available for preorder here. Sloe Jack — ”LANDMINE” 

For fans of feeling their storms of emotions.

Sloe Jack shared his latest single and music video with “LANDMINE.” The track serves as a self-reflection for the singer as he sings of his life’s troubles. “Sometimes I feel like I’m one step away from self-destruction. I wrote ‘LANDMINE’ about being scared of falling back into my old ways,” he said in an Instagram reel. 

Ben Quad — “Your Face As An Effigy” 

For fans of finding your people.

Ben Quad dropped their second track through Pure Noise Records with “Your Face As An Effigy.” The single will be featured on the group’s upcoming EP Ephemera, which drops October 25, and is available for preorder here. Ben Quad will be featured on the Pure Noise Records Tour alongside Microwave, Prince Daddy And The Hyena, and Just Friends. A full list of dates and tickets can be found here

Luke Middleton & Grant Kemp — “STRANGERS” featuring Engrave 

For fans of anyone listening to I Prevail since their inception.

Luke Middleton and Grant Kemp teamed up for a heavy track that serves as a tool of reflection. Featuring metalcore quartet Engrave, “STRANGERS” is speckled with alluring harmonies and choruses. When posting about the release on Instagram, Middleton revealed his motivations: “For me personally, this song is about the death of the person I used to be, dealing with mental health issues, sobriety, and losing a part of myself… For whoever is listening, no matter what you’ve gone through, or what you’ve done, the person you are today matters more than who you were yesterday.”

Karen Dió — “3am”

For fans of those who roll out of bed arms swinging.

Karen Dió released “3am,” a short yet fiery new single that will get you pumped for anything. The song will be featured on the singer’s upcoming EP My World, out October 25 and available to presave here. She will also be opening for Sum 41 at their farewell show in London on October 31, tickets are available here

When The Sun Sets — “Seratonin Sunrise” 

For fans of perusing the hopeless romantic section at the bookstore.

Pop punk three-piece When The Sun Sets dropped “Serotonin Sunrise,” a lively tune focused on the feelings of being in love and holding on to the hope of finding The One. “For myself, everything in my life changed for the better. It’s like I found my purpose again,” says lead vocalist Zack Baumgartner. “Things that were difficult by yourself, are just simple with the right person.”

Letdown. — “Be OK” featuring LØLØ 

For fans of artists that know how to slow things down.

Letdown. shared the gentle title track to his next LP Be OK with a feature from LØLØ. Backed by steady acoustic accompaniment, the two vocalists build serene harmonies throughout each chorus with lyrics reflecting on the difficulties on letting go of unneeded energies. “It’s something I think about all the time,” Letdown. says. “I left everything negative in my life that has affected me, but I still think about it in a way that is almost like I miss it. It’s a weird headspace to live in—to hate something and know it’s gone, but still want it somehow.” He heads out on his Be OK headlining tour starting November 16. Catch Your Breath — “Good In Goodbye”

For fans of finding hope when your heart has been broken.

Catch Your Breath released the final track of the deluxe edition of Shame On Me. Compared to the rest of the album, “Good In Goodbye” is slower but just as impactful with its heartbreaking lyrics and resonating instrumentals. The deluxe LP is available now via Thriller Records. The group just started a tour supporting Dayseeker and will be hosting their own headline tour in Europe next year. Check out where they’re headed and grab your tickets here

Damiano David—“SILVERLINES”

For fans of moments in musicals when it’s quiet before the actor belts out their feelings.

Damiano David (Måneskin) dropped the debut single of his new solo project with “SILVERLINES.” Produced by Labrinth, the track features a soft piano backtrack paired with rupturing vocalizations. “It was one of the first songs to be recorded on this new project,” David says. “At the time it represented a letter of hope, but now, if I look back, I can see how I am exactly where the song said I would be.”

Rain City Drive — “Wish You The Best” 

For fans of setting fire to toxic relationships.

Rain City Drive shared the music video for “Wish You The Best.” Utilizing moving drum beats and a vibrating baseline, the band takes on the power struggle that comes with having to let someone go, even when you don’t want to. The track is featured on their latest album Things Are Different Now, which is available to order Thriller Records. The group just started their fall headline tour and will hit the road supporting Dayseeker in November. All tickets and dates are available here.

Amber Pacific — “Young And Reckless”

For fans of exciting new beginnings.

Amber Pacific made their Manic Kat Records debut with “Young And Reckless.” The track is the band’s first in three years, and they say it’s the beginning of a “new chapter.” “We’re excited to see where this journey takes us,” says guitarist and vocalist Will Nutter. “We’re so grateful for the continued support from all of our fans around the world over the last 20 years.” The band is currently on tour with MEST and will be supporting Hawthorne Heights in October on the 20 Years of Tears Tour.
