TX2 is back—and has surprise-released two new tracks, “Eat My Heart” and “Prescription For Love,” marking his first new material since his debut album and closing the loop on one of his most demanded songs to date.
“Eat My Heart” has been circulating online for years, building a near-mythical status among fans who have been pushing for its official release. After relentless demand, TX2 finally gave in. “I didn’t want to release this song, it’s been years, but fans have hounded us for it for YEARS,” he shares. “After everything this movement has done for us we had to do something for them.”
Arriving alongside it is “Prescription For Love,” a more introspective counterpart that leans into growth and self-awareness. “‘Prescription For Love’ was written while trying to break out of a pattern in relationships I seemed to keep finding myself in,” TX2 explains. “I just want to learn how to love and this was a big step for me.”
