TX2 Explores Body Dysmorphia Struggles On “Hollow Frame”

Following the release of singles “Infamous,” “MAD,” and “HOSTAGE (they will not erase us),” TX2 is back with a new track, “Hollow Frame.” The new offering is beyond impactful, describing a struggle that many endure silently. TX2’s Evan Thomas shares, “I’ve struggled with an eating disorder all my life, and not enough males talk about body dysmorphia. When I was in 7th grade, I had an apple a day diet and weighed 90 Ibs, it all started when I couldn’t fit in skinny jeans and look like the ’emo boys’ I saw on TV. Since then, I’ve been making progress,… Read more »

TX2 on idobi Warped Radio: Defiant, Loud, and Unstoppable

This week on idobi Warped Radio, TX2 storms the mic to talk about kicking egos to the curb, blowing up as an emo influencer, and turning self-doubt into a full-blown movement. From tackling the toxicity of the alternative scene to building a safe space for outcasts, TX2 gets real about the battles they’ve fought—and the ones they’re still taking on.

They dive into their mission to support the LGBTQIA+ community, name-drop heroes like Rage Against The Machine and Green Day, and explain why political music still matters. Plus, they dish on mixing rock and rap, their favorite collabs (From First To Last, Ice Nine Kills, and more), going viral on TikTok, meeting Sum 41, and why “they will not erase us” is more than a lyric—it’s a war cry.

Oh, and there’s talk of ass-kicking. Naturally.

12 New-Age Protest Songs To Listen To This 4th of July

For Americans across the nation, this July 4th might not feel like one worth celebrating. In Trump’s first six months in office, he’s sent the military on U.S. citizens in Los Angeles. ICE arrests have broken innocent families apart, and in most cases, those being deported have no criminal record (or are actual American citizens). Countless pieces of legislation were introduced or passed that take direct aim at the LGBTQ+ community. Federal workers were laid off en masse, the genocide in Palestine rages on, and this is merely scratching the surface. Refer back, even further, to 2023 when SCOTUS overturned… Read more »

Artists Celebrating and Supporting Pride This June And Every Month

The first Pride was a riot—the Stonewall riots, to be exact. And it feels like the spirit of those early movements needs to return. As the United States legislates against transgender individuals, incites attacks on LGBTQIA+ rights, and defunds valuable health programs such as HIV research, it might feel like there’s a looming dark cloud over the month. However, celebrating who you are and who you love is an act of resistance! Not only does the whole team at idobi Radio celebrate Pride, these alternative musicians and brands are also celebrating the LGBTQ+ people in their lives this June and… Read more »
