Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival is back for its sixth year in a row, and its 2024 lineup is positively stacked. The festival teased Bad Omens as a headliner days before the official full lineup announcement, and that teaser alone was met with major excitement.

Running July 19-21, the famous Inkcarceration is, of course, taking place at The Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield. The prison is also famous for its alleged haunts and for setting the scene of The Shawshank Redemption.

Beginning on Friday, headlining acts include Breaking Benjamin, The Offspring, and Chevelle. Saturday night’s acts include Godsmack, Halestorm, and I Prevail. Finally, Parkway Drive, Bad Omens, and Shinedown will help conclude the festival.

Other beloved acts making appearances include Sleeping With Sirens, Dropkick Murphys, Skillet, Veil Of Maya, and more. In fact, Chimaira is set to play, which marks their first festival appearance in more than one decade—14 years, to be exact. Plus, don’t miss out on tomorrow’s biggest metal artists, including Afterlife, Holy Wars, and beyond. Check out the full lineup below.

Shinedown‘s Brent Smith said, “We are currently in the studio working on new music for SHINEDOWN #8. We will only be playing a select amount of live shows this year, but when the opportunity came to us to headline this year’s INKCARCERATION, and support DWP, there was no hesitation whatsoever. We are so honored to be a part of this incredible show, and to share the stage with such extraordinary artists, and the GREATEST fans in the world.”

Festival attendees will have the chance to get some fresh ink from one of the 115 tattoo artists on-site. Plus, for the amateur paranormal investigators out there, the reportedly haunted Ohio State Reformatory will be open for free self-guided tours. Also, Blood Prison, the haunted prison experience, is available to attendees with an additional fee.

General admission tickets and VIP options are currently on sale here. Weekend GA passes start at $199.99, weekend VIP starts at $479.99, and single-day GA starts at $99.99. Fees apply to each ticket purchase. Options for layaway and payment plans are also available. Additionally, attendees can purchase camping passes or hotel packages.
