Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival is back for its sixth year in a row, and its 2024 lineup is positively stacked. The festival teased Bad Omens as a headliner days before the official full lineup announcement, and that teaser alone was met with major excitement. Running July 19-21, the famous Inkcarceration is, of course, taking place at The Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield. Northlane is back with their single “Miasma,” featuring Parkway Drive’s Winston McCall. The act also announced their upcoming EP, Mirror’s Edge, due on April 12. Across the track, they stick to their metal origins even with a new era ushering in. This new release includes their devious angelic melodies slipped between McCall’s fierce screams to create a curious anomaly. Mixing EDM and metalcore is on the rise. The Amity Affliction is the most recent artist to jump on this trend and has reimagined their song “Show Me Your God” with DJ PROBLM CHLD. The bouncy trance, sometimes dubstep-esqe beat, is a different way to listen to the Australian act.
