After a whirlwind international tour and a new album cycle, Paramore is back with a new remix album of sorts, Re: This Is Why, and they announced each artist taking part in the release. The LP is set to arrive on October 6. This indie-hardcore band has had a whirlwind 2023. From supporting blink-182 on the Rock Hard Tour, headlining international shows, and performing on mainstages at festivals including Rolling Loud, Furnace Fest, and Riot Fest. Turnstile shocked festivalgoers at this weekend’s Rock En Seine in Domaine National de Saint-Cloud based near Paris by bringing on Boygenius’ own Julien Baker onstage with them. As Paramore is nearing the end of their North American run of the This Is Why Tour, the trio paved their way through a 21-song setlist last night in San Francisco at the Chase Center. In a brilliant fusion of sports and music, vocalist Hayley Williams invited Golden State Warriors’ point guard, Steph Curry, to the stage for an electrifyingly special performance. Following an illness in the touring party, Paramore has made the decision to reschedule this week’s This Is How headlining dates. In a statement posted to their social channels, the group shares, “As announced yesterday, our show in San Francisco was postponed due to illness within the touring party. Excitement has filled the air as Taylor Swift‘s highly anticipated re-release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is set to release this week.
