Silverstein make a triumphant return in 2013 with a release that not only reflects their roots, but also explores new complexities not heard on prior releases. This Is How the Wind Shifts is arguably Silverstein’s most ambitious, mature, and progressive album to date.
Silverstein will release their seventh studio album This Is How The Wind Shifts on February 5th, 2013 via Hopeless Records. The band has also announced an extensive tour in support of the album throughout North America and Europe.
Silverstein will head out on tour this August with support from Such Gold, Daytrader, and Lions Lions. The band will be playing the album Short Songs in it’s entirety.
Silverstein are in the studio working on a collection of songs each clocking in at under 90 seconds. The album will feature 22 tracks in total, an even split of new material and covers of bands like NOFX, Green Day, and The Descendents.
Silverstein will be performing their entire catalog over four nights in March at the El Mocambo in Toronto, Canada.
