Real Friends are one of those bands who, although their musical repertoire is far from extensive, have yet to put out a bad song. Their latest EP Put Yourself Back Together is no exception – but there’s no sign of the band pushing their limits or trying something new.
I got to speak with my buddy Kyle from Real Friends about their brand new album, the recording process of it (which turned out solid by the way) the vinyl they have with Glamour Kills, what it’s going to be like to be in a van again especially on Warped Tour, and most importantly – WRESTLING and Shawn Michael and Bret The Hitman Hart! New Zealand-based rising alternative star ratbag shared biting commentary on stereotypical heterosexual relationships in new track “pinky girl.” It follows up previous single “pinky boy.” ratbag explains: “’pinky girl’ is about girlfriends being cooler than their boyfriends. American Football is celebrating 25 years of their iconic self-titled debut, aka LP1. The anniversary will be marked by the release of a remastered version of American Football and a covers album featuring Manchester Orchestra, Yvette Young, and more. The anniversary albums will be available on October 18 via Polyvinyl Record Co. Say Anything is a band that you can’t appropriately compare to any other band.
