Get ready to recite the OG emo copypasta. The Best Friends Forever festival is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, from October 11-13 at the Downtown Las Vegas Center just ahead of When We Were Young Fest the following weekend in Vegas. Pre-sale starts on February 28 at 10 AM PST, with general tickets on sale on February 29.

With such a lineup, attendees can expect an abundance of sick twinkly riffs. Gracing the headline stages are Bright Eyes, Sunny Day Real Estate, plus the reunion of Cap’ N Jazz. The festival will also include a stacked undercard of artists who are making a splash in the modern indie-emo scene. Pool Kids, Home Is Where, Sweet Pill, and others will take the stage to demonstrate what the fourth and fifth waves of the popular genre are really about.

With vocalist Mike Kinsella’s multiple projects featured on the lineup, fans will also have a traditional American Football set to accompany the return of his side project, Cap’ N Jazz. Alt-indie icons, The Dismemberment Plan are set to assemble for the first time in over a decade.

In a statement from the fest organizers, they explain that it, “Brings together classic independent emo/alternative artists who defined their respective musical spaces, as well as celebrating the community that formed around them. Beyond the music, BFF’s is about life-defining moments and lifelong friendships created along the way.”
