My Chemical Romance will hit the road in January for their 2011 “The World Contamination” tour — a full-scale trek in support of their brand-new album “Danger Days: The True Lives of The Fabulous Killjoys,” which will be released by Reprise Records on Monday, November 22nd. The tour will launch on April 1, 2011 in Portland, OR.

On November 22, My Chemical Romance will return with their supercharged new album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, and if they seem rather invigorated this time out — what with frontman Gerard Way’s radioactive-red dye job and their newfound affinity for Trans Ams and DayGlo leather jackets — well, they owe it all to one song: the hyperkinetic first single, “Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na).”

My Chemical Romance singer to be a dad


My Chemical Romance singer Gerard Way ‘s newest creation isn’t a CD – it’s an upcoming baby. A representative for the singer says Way, 31, and wife Lindsey, bass player of the band Mindless Self Indulgence, are expecting their first child. The baby is due early in the summer 2009. The pair have been married since Sept. 4, 2007. My Chemical Romance is known for hits like “Famous Last Words” and “Welcome to the Black Parade.”

My Chemical Romance commits 'Parade' to CD/DVD


My Chemical Romance’s tour in support of its 2006 album “The Black Parade” forms the basis of “The Black Parade Is Dead!,” a CD/DVD package due June 24. The project was filmed October 7, 2007, at Mexico City’s Palacio de los Deportes, and October 24, 2007, at the tiny Maxwell’s in Hoboken, New Jersey. The CD portion of the Warner Bros. release sports 13 tracks, a track list it shares with disc one of the DVD, taped in Mexico City. The second DVD disc boasts 18 songs from the Hoboken show. ‘It will be quite awhile before there’s another My Chemical Romance album,’ front man says at Comic-Con 2007. My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way has always loved comic books. His first job, in high school, was at a local comic book shop in New Jersey. He didn’t actually collect a paycheck each week – his compensation came in the form of free comic books. He idolized the likes of Neil Gaiman, Alan Moore, Frank Miller and Grant Morrison.
