Rob Zombie To Replace Rage Project On Ozzfest Main Stage


It seems Ozzfest, like any good corporation, promotes from within. Former second-stage headliner Rob Zombie will fill the main-stage slot vacated by the untitled Chris Cornell-Rage Against the Machine collaboration, which forfeited the slot after the ex-Soundgarden singer announced he was “no longer moving forward” with the project, according to tour organizers. Ozzfest Lands Rage/Chris Cornell, P.O.D., Rob Zombie, More


Ozzy Osbourne, System of a Down, P.O.D. and the new band featuring former Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell and Rage Against the Machine members Tim Commerford, Tom Morello and Brad Wilk are among the groups slated to take the main stage when this summer’s Ozzfest kicks off on July 6, Ozzy’s manager/wife, Sharon Osbourne, told MTV News on Tuesday. Adema Prep New Songs, Mourn Loss Of Rage Against The Machine


When they finish the Projekt Revolution Tour, which also features Linkin Park, Cypress Hill and DJ Z-Trip, Adema will join Alien Ant Farm, Fenix TX, Glassjaw and others on the already-in-progress SnoCore Festival, which runs until March 30. Alien Ant Farm, Fenix TX At Heart Of SnoCore Tour


Alien Ant Farm, Fenix TX and Glassjaw are among the bands on board for the seventh annual SnoCore festival. Like last year, SnoCore will once again be split into two factions: SnoCore Rock and SnoCore Icicle Ball, which adopts a more eclectic, avant-garde vibe. AAF and the like-minded rock lineup will kick things off February 15 in Providence, Rhode Island, according to the tour’s publicist.
