State Champs premiere new music video


State Champs debuted their latest music video for their song “Hard to Please” on MTVU today. The track is from their debut album  The Finer Things, which is due out on Pure Noise Records on October 8th. If you like “Hard to Please” you can watch a video for another track, “Elevated,” here.  The Finer Things  was co-produced by Steve Klein (guitarist from New Found Glory) and Sam Pura recorded it at Panda Studios. CMJ Music Marathon announces artist lineup


The 33rd annual CMJ Music Marathon will take place in New York City October 15th-19th. The event, which spans across 80 venues, aims to break new artists as well as feature established artists. Acts playing the festival this year include You Me At Six, The Sounds, The Dismemberment Plan, NGHBRS, Echosmith, Braid, and more. Forever The Sickest Kids release music video for “Nikki”


Forever The Sickest Kids have released a music video for the song “Nikki” off their album J.A.C.K..The band enlisted the help of director Danny Drysdale (The Killers, Cursive)  to tell the 4 minute story behind the song. “People are always falling in love and running at each other in slow motion,” describes director Danny Drysdale. “…but all kinds of stuff can get in the way of love, the trick is to still keep it together once the obstacles pass.
