The Pixies are required listening for anyone diving into rock music of any kind. “The Irishman” Debuts On Netflix And In Select Theaters September 27


Martin Scorsese’s long-awaited film “The Irishman” finally arrives in select theaters and on Netflix this fall. Inspired by the book “I heard you paint houses” by Charles Brandt, the movie dives into the confession of, the hitman and one-time labor union official, Frank Sheeran who claimed to have played a part in the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa. To paint a house is a polite euphemism for the work done by a hitman, a reference to blood spatter. Why Women Kill Arrives On CBS All Access August 15


“Why Women Kill”, a new dark comedy created by Marc Cherry, premieres on CBS All Access Thursday, August 15. The show will be available weekly on the direct-to-consumer digital subscription video-on-demand and live streaming service. Starring Lucy Liu, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Kirby Howell-Baptiste the show follows the fall out after infidelity taking place in the same house in 3 separate decades.
