Music videos are an interesting art form — they can be beautiful interpretations that reveal the inner meanings of the music, or they can make so little sense that they leave your brain feeling like scrambled eggs. We’re not even 20 seconds into the show, and Ryan Seacrest is already suggesting that we’re in for one helluva train wreck tonight. “We don’t havhe Paula! But we’ll find her, right?” This is “American Idol”? It’s the last round of semifinal performances, and nothing could be worse than Tuesday’s embarrassing men’s show . Legally challenged rocker Courtney Love can put “parent” back on the list of things she sometimes does-right up there with “sing” and “act.” A judge ruled Monday that Love could regain custody of her 12-year-old daughter, Frances Bean, whose father is the late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. “Frances has been returned to [Love] after a judge indicated satisfaction in Ms. Love’s efforts to turn around her life and found it was in the best interests of mother and daughter to be reunited,” Love’s attorney, Howard Weitzman, said in a statement. Well, they do say that the squeaky wheel gets the grease and apparently no rock fans squeak louder than the Motely Crue faithful. Despite an apparent cease-fire to the mudslinging between Fred Durst and Britney Spears, the Limp Bizkit frontman just can’t seem to say enough about the sexy singer. Onstage Saturday at a free concert in London’s Finsbury Park, Durst introduced the tune “Break Stuff” by taking a swipe at the pop star. Nirvana co-founder Krist Novoselic is packing up his instrument following the universal apathy displayed for Eyes Adrift, the alt-country band he formed in late 2001 with Meat Puppets guitarist Curt Kirkwood and Sublime drummer Bud Gaugh. “I quit,” he wrote in a post on the band’s official Web site. “I can’t deal.
