On the third day of Christmas, idobi gave to me the pop punk collab of my dreams.

So, I hear you guys are doing a world tour together next year for the citizens of earth. Sounds like you’ll be spending quite a lot of time together—on stage, on planes, during (un)comfortably long van drives, pranking each other. Even though you haven’t announced the North American leg of the tour (yet), it’s a match that pop punkers everywhere are pining over—myself included.

Home For Fall Release New Music Video “Too Late”

Today, Cleveland based band Home For Fall released their new music video for “Too Late.” The song is a shout out to the old pop-punk ways of early Yellowcard and Fall Out Boy while still maintaining that new age pop-punk feels of bands like State Champs and Real Friends that we all know and love. Cleveland Rocks: A Hometown Girl Talks Her Favorite Bands’ Journey to the APMAs

The Alternative Press Music Awards is making its second annual appearance this year in Cleveland on July 22nd. Because I grew up in Cleveland, I had the privilege of watching many of this year’s APMAs nominees perform live early on in their careers. Some of these bands have been a part of my life since I was 13, while others are a bit newer to me. When I think about all of the journeys I’ve taken with them as people, and to see them perform live–just in this city alone–I can’t help but feel a sense of pride about where… Read more »

ICYMI – May 11, 2015

Excuse the Emo Revival, But Acceptance Released a New Song If you’re a newby in this scene, the name Acceptance might not ring too many bells for you. You might have heard them on “Outlines” on All Time Low’s 2012 LP Don’t Panic. But, what you should know is that these guys released one of the best albums ever, Phantoms. It was their only full-length release, and one that marked the first generation of underground pop-punk/emo breaching the mainstream wall. Dig around for a song called “So Contagious”, because it’s perfect and probably familiar. And now, after 10 years they… Read more »
