Dave Hause (Singer-songwriter)

Are you ready for another episode of The Rockstar Dad Show? You better be, because Jaret and Gary have plenty to chat with you about this week.

Listen in as the guys talk the realities of divorce and co-parenting. They’ll also dig into the flipside—wedding planning and Jaret’s #lifehack for cutting costs. Plus, they talk reality TV, Survivor on VHS, and Costco.

Later Dave Hause calls in to tell us about his career, from starting off with Sick Of It All and The Bouncing Souls to his band The Loved Ones. The father of twins also tells us about finding out he’s about to be a dad to two, balancing life and touring, and making a cover album.

Daniel McCartney (The Continuance Foundation)

Daniel McCartney has been working in the music industry for years, and when he noticed a lack of resources and support for musicians and their mental health, he decided to do something about it. Enter, The Continuance Foundation. The foundation’s Mission Statement reads “The Continuance Foundation exists to arm and provide the full-time touring & studio musician community with the necessary tools, education, funds, direction, and guidance to properly prioritize & invest into their mental health.”  Daniel and I have both benefited from various resources so I hope you’ll support his efforts to provide a deeper conversation regarding mental health.

Chrissy Costanza, Singer/Songwriter of Against The Current

This week we chat with Chrissy Costanza, who first rose to fame as the lead singer of Against the Current and has since become one of the most recognizable female voices in gaming.  We find out about how Chrissy first met her bandmates, Will Ferri and Dan Gow, and how they quickly caught the attention of label Fueled By Ramen (Warner Music, home of Twenty One Pilots, Panic! At The Disco, All Time Low, and more).

After a critically acclaimed debut album and a sold-out world tour, Chrissy was approached by Riot Games in 2017 to be the voice of the League of Legends anthem “Legends Never Die”, which has had over 200 million streams.  2020 has kept Chrissy in the studio with her ATC bandmates working on their forthcoming album which is sure to be their breakthrough offering, as well as embarking on hosting her own show as one of the founding talents on the gaming x music culture network, Venn.
