The 2014 Take Action Tour has been announced. The tour, now heading into its 12th year, will feature The Devil Wears Prada, The Ghost Inside, I Killed the Prom Queen and Dangerkids. It will kick off March 12th in Ventura, CA at the Ventura Theatre and continues through April 2nd, wrapping in Columbus, OH. Tickets for all dates will be on sale Friday, January 17th. South By So What!? is back in 2014 for its biggest and best year yet. The festival will take place at Quiktrip Park in Grand Prairie, TX on March 14-16th. The festival features a wide variety of alternative, pop-punk, metal, and hardcore bands including Taking Back Sunday, The Used, Bring Me The Horizon, Of Mice & Men, The Devil Wears Prada, The Story So Far and Comeback Kid.
Female-fronted power metal quintet Huntress recently wrapped up a tour with metal titans Testament, Killswitch Engage, and Lamb of God, who they’ll be heading to Europe with in the new year. Frontwoman Jill Janus plays hardball and is certainly one of the boys. Classically trained and positively wicked, Janus sat down for some girltalk with idobi writer Alex Rudisill at one of their final dates with such a legendary lineup.

But whatever you do, don’t call them “indie.”
Lamb Of God and Killswitch Engage will head out on a co-headlining tour this fall. The tour launches October 22nd in Toronto and canvases much of the U.S and Canada. Support for the tour will come from Testament and Huntress.
