After playing at the first outing of the Honda Civic Tour ten years ago, Blink-182 joined it again to celebrate its anniversary. They were also joined by My Chemical Romance, which would have been a perfect pairing for many people.

My Chemical Romance fire drummer for stealing


My Chemical Romance have fired their drummer, Michael Pedicone, after he was “caught red-handed stealing from the band” after a concert in Auburn, Washington. Though the band members have not revealed any details of the incident, they did note in an announcement on their official website that Pedicone had confessed to local police.

It’s not just that the My Chemical Romance frontman has traded his usual elaborately layered stage outfits for snug black jeans and a shredded black T-shirt, revealing a torso that’s gone from chubby to Bowie-in-Berlin gaunt. It’s not just that he’s dyed his once-dark chin-length hair a crazed-clown red — a look that Way, 33, also rocked in his pre-fame teenage years, inspired by Kurt Cobain and Wayne Coyne.

My Chemical Romance will hit the road in January for their 2011 “The World Contamination” tour — a full-scale trek in support of their brand-new album “Danger Days: The True Lives of The Fabulous Killjoys,” which will be released by Reprise Records on Monday, November 22nd. The tour will launch on April 1, 2011 in Portland, OR.

My Chemical Romance Say ‘Na Na Na’ Saved The Band


On November 22, My Chemical Romance will return with their supercharged new album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, and if they seem rather invigorated this time out — what with frontman Gerard Way’s radioactive-red dye job and their newfound affinity for Trans Ams and DayGlo leather jackets — well, they owe it all to one song: the hyperkinetic first single, “Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na).”
