This week I have Kevin Jordan of the band This Wild Life on the show, we met ages ago from us both being previously involved with Epitaph Records, I have him on the show and he talks to me about how he got his music career started. He’s a great guy and their band went viral and we hear his story.
As It Is just dropped a new teaser video on Instagram and TikTok sharing that they’re releasing a new version of “Dial Tones.” This time, the Never Happy, Ever After track contains a mystery featured guest artist. The teaser video sees the song in its more mature form with refined pop-punk sonics—after all, it’s been an entire decade. (Insert crying emoji here.) This Wild Life is giving fans their take on blink-182’s iconic ballad, “I Miss You.” The cover, featuring Oliver Baxxter of Broadside, is on the duo’s dynamic new release, Never Fade. And today, they are sharing their nostalgic music video for the track. Reminiscent of blink-182’s original music video, This Wild Life’s version is set in a darkly-lit house decorated with candles, velvet curtains, and a grand chandelier hanging above. The visualizer focuses on the bandmates’ performances as they pay homage to the song’s emotional lyrics. Following the arrival of their debut EP GALORE, House Of Protection is back with a new single and music video, as well as the promise of a forthcoming EP. Produced by frequent collaborator Jordan Fish (ex-Bring Me The Horizon), Stephen Harrison and Aric Improta just debuted “Afterlife” from Outrun You All, due out on May 23 via Red Bull Records. Following the release of their major label debut, “It’s Supposed To Hurt,” House Of Protection is back with a new track, “Learn To Forget,” via Red Bull Records. As if Dolly Parton launching a 30-track rock album on November 17 wasn’t exciting enough, the artist recently released even more bonus tracks. Parton teamed up with Italy’s own Måneskin for a reimagining of the iconic “Jolene.” On November 19, Parton took to Instagram to post a behind-the-scenes video of the new rock version of “Jolene.” On top of working with one of music’s most legendary stars, Måneskin also shared a new music video during the holiday week for “TRASTEVERE” on November 23.
