The Irish singer/songwriter, Foy Vance has announced today he will be embarking on a lengthy tour in support of the 10 year anniversary of his album The Joy Of Nothing. The album boast the extremely popular track, “Guiding Light“, which featured Ed Sheeran himself. In 2015, Foy Vance became Ed Sheeran’s second signing to his label Gingerbread Man Records and he has subsequently released two acclaimed studio albums, The Wild Swan (2016) and Signs Of Life (2021). Hot off the heels of their recently released seventh studio album A Kiss For The Whole World, Enter Shikari has announced the details of their forthcoming 2024 UK tour. The group will be joined by FEVER 333 and NOAHFINNCE as support across the seven-night run. While the tour will support their latest full-length, the tour will also benefit the Music Venue Trust charity organization. £1 from each ticket sale will be donated to the organization, which supports grassroots venues within the community. The annual Boston Calling festival will return for its ninth year at Harvard Athletic Complex this May. Spanning across three days, Boston Calling will be held Memorial Day weekend from May 26-28, and today, they have announced the set times for the upcoming three-day event. With anticipated headline performances from Foo Fighters (Friday, May 26), The Lumineers (Saturday, May 27), and Paramore (Sunday, May 28), there will be several major overlapping sets. Paramore‘s performance, which is scheduled to close out the festival on Sunday evening, will substantially overlap with Aussie rockers, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. Legendary goth-rock band, The Cure, have once again added on to their lengthy tour of North America this year. The band joked that this would be the “final last show” added to the run. They have added an extra date in San Francisco on May 29th at the Shoreline Amphitheatre as their appearance at the same spot on May 27th is completely sold out.
