Coheed & Cambria are celebrating their 20 year anniversary in style with the release of their 10th LP Vaxis – Act II: A Window of the Making Mind. The Nyack, New York prog rockers made their way to Queens on Saturday, July 30th for a semi home-town show at the Forest Hills Tennis Stadium. Led by frontman Claudio Sanchez’s lush hair and soaring vocals, Coheed & Cambria played a career-spanning set including fan-favorite “Welcome Home” to end the show. Today we talk about yesterday’s shooting at Highland Park, Harry Styles cancelling his tour in Copenhagen, and an update on Travis Barker. Shooting in Highland Park Yesterday there was a shooting in Highland Park, Illinois at a 4th of July parade, about 25 miles outside of Chicago. According to NPR, authorities said over 70 rounds were shot off of a rooftop from a high powered rifle.
