Multi-platinum Island Records group Fall Out Boy kicks off the new year with “****LIVE IN PHOENIX,” their first long-form CD+DVD two-disc package, set to arrive in stores on April 1st.   The core of the program will be their full-length Honda Civic Tour concert of June 2007 from the Cricket Pavilion in Phoenix, with all 22 songs contained on both the CD and DVD layers. The Killers Heading Back on the Road in April


The Killers will return to the road in North America this spring with a three-week tour, beginning April 6 in Santa Barbara, Calif. The group will play a blend of auditoriums, arenas and outdoor amphitheatres through April 29 in Boston. Members of the group’s fan club have had access to tickets since last weekend; the general public on-sale is Saturday (Feb. 3). An opening act has yet to be announced. Green Day to Begin North American Tour in April


Los Angeles – Punk trio Green Day, up for six prizes at the Grammy Awards on Sunday will launch a five-week North American arena tour on April 15, the group’s Reprise Records label said. The 27-date trek, heavy on college towns, begins in Coral Gables, Fla. at the University of Miami’s Convocation Center, and wraps May 20 at the Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary. Green Day will perform during the Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and will then play New Zealand, Australia and Japan in March. Hot Hot Heat are getting ready to pull off the bandages and rock the dance floor once again. The Canadian hipster dance-punk act have finished putting together the much-anticipated follow-up to 2002’s indie hit Make Up The Breakdown. Simple Plan Plays April Fools Joke On MTV TRL Viewers


Keeping with the playful attitude that is Simple Plan, lead singer Pierre Bouvier called in to the MTV TRL Countdown yesterday from Vancouver to announce he and his Simple Plan buddies had parted ways after constant fighting over the direction the band was heading. Matchbox Twenty To Tour U.S. In Late April


Matchbox Twenty is set to embark on a U.S. tour starting in late April. Dates are still being solidified, but the tickets will go on sale in mid-February. Paul McCartney to Begin U.S. Tour on April 1


Former Beatle Paul McCartney will kick off his first North American concert tour in nine years in Oakland, Calif. on April 1, his publicist said on Thursday. McCartney, 59, will play 20 shows in 19 cities, including a two-night stand at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Hotel where the top ticket price will be $350, according to tour promoters. Tickets for the other cities on the eight-week trek of indoor arenas will be priced between $55 and $250, they said. Blink-182, Green Day To Launch Co-Headlining Catastrophe In April


Bastions of ’90s punk Green Day and Blink-182 will embark on a co-headlining jaunt, beginning April 17 in Bakersfield, California. The 41-city Pop Disaster Tour will continue through June 17 in Minneapolis, according to a tour publicist. Venues have yet to be hammered out.
