The 33rd annual CMJ Music Marathon will take place in New York City October 15th-19th. The event, which spans across 80 venues, aims to break new artists as well as feature established artists. Acts playing the festival this year include You Me At Six, The Sounds, The Dismemberment Plan, NGHBRS, Echosmith, Braid, and more. Slowly but surely partners for the next season of “Dancing With the Stars” are being announced, and Kelly Osbourne is the latest contestant to have her dance partner revealed prior to Monday’s official announcement. “Access Hollywood” reports that when the season starts on September 21, Osbourne will be dancing with Louis van Amstel, who has partnered with Priscilla Presley and Monique Coleman in past seasons. The pair will begin rehearsals this week. *NSYNC will not be performing at the all-star salute to Michael Jackson due to scheduling conflicts, according to the event’s producer David Gest. The pop group was originally scheduled to perform with Jackson on September 7, but Gest released a statement today (August 22) in which he explained: “Michael Jackson and *NSYNC will not have time to rehearse the ‘Dancing Machine’ number with the Jacksons in the way Michael planned to present it.
