Honestly, one of my favorite singer songwriters has been Andrew McMahon. Being at Drive Thru Records and hearing original SoCo demo’s I was blown away – I remember the early comparisons we used to say relating SoCo to Billy Joel with a rock indie feel to it. Since then, Andrew has worked his ass off – devoting his DIY attitude and non-stop touring and his many music endeavors to have a permanent fixture in the music industry. I Am The Avalanche are currently on a run with support from Hostage Calm and Banquets, celebrating the release of their latest album, Avalanche United. Fans in central New York got their chance to catch the tour at the Lost Horizon in Syracuse on Sunday, March 18. Taking Back Sunday, Thursday and Colour Revolt will be touring together this summer with The New Regime and We Are The In Crowd appearing on select shows. The tour begins June 14th in Denver. CO and ends July 31st in Chicago, IL.
