Foo Fighters, Haim, and More Announced on Eddie Vedder’s Ohana Festival


Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder is bringing back the annual Ohana Festival this fall to Dana Point, CA, and he’s bringing some renowned friends with him this year. Returning to California from Sept. 29-Oct. 1 at Doheny State Beach, the latest installment features Vedder headlining alongside The Killers, Haim, The Chicks, Foo Fighters, and Pretenders. Neck Deep Announce Intimate Warm-Up Shows Ahead of Download Festival Performance


UK pop-punk mainstays Neck Deep have announced two intimate, warm-up shows to kick off Download Festival weekend. In a social media post featuring a true-to-form punk poster, the band shared that the shows will take place on June 7 at The Foundry in Torquay and June 8 at Engine Rooms in Southampton. Phoenix Festival, 1996: The Tour That Defined Me


— As UK music festivals go, the Phoenix Festival doesn’t have the storied history of Glastonbury or Reading. It only ran for five years, between 1993 and ’97, but it was located pretty close to my home in the Midlands region of England when I was growing up, and so I went to the 1995 event and the two that followed.  The 1996 Phoenix Festival is the festival that I judge all festivals on.
