While attending the Hopeless Records 30th Anniversary event in Las Vegas, NV, at the Punk Rock Museum, Stand Atlantic chatted with idobi Radio about their newly released studio album, the rumors on the internet that vocalist Bonnie Fraser would be joining Linkin Park, and more. Amid intense speculation earlier this year about who might step in as Linkin Park’s new vocalist, Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley became one of the most talked-about contenders. Stand Atlantic has been leaving their mark across the UK and Europe, celebrating the release of their full-length album, WAS HERE. While in London last Friday, September 20, the Aussie natives invited the newly formed As It Is frontman Patty Walters to the stage to perform “NOSE BLEED.” The track, the group’s latest single from the album, originally featured Sueco as the guest vocalist. While on the idobi Radio Summer School Tour, Stand Atlantic brought out a very special guest via FaceTime. On the track, “GIRL$,” lead vocalist Bonnie Fraser called up collaborator PVRIS‘ Lynn Gunn to unconventionally perform it live. Don’t you just love how technology can bring people together? Fraser showed the crowd the PVRIS lead singer and told fans in the pit, “Say ‘Hi Lyndsey.’” Of course, the crowd was elated to see the fun surprise and offer their voices up, too.
