Get Involved! are a veritable post hardcore supergroup, with members having spent time in some of the genre’s most legendary bands — bands like Glassjaw, Thursday, and From Autumn To Ashes. But one act you might not expect to find on their shared resume is British boy band The Wanted.
Color Film, the latest project from Daryl Palumbo(Glassjaw, Head Automatica) and Richard Penzone (Men Women & Children), will release Until You Turn Blue on October 22nd through Calm + Collect Records. It will come out as a four song digital EP via iTunes and a two song 7″.
The Gunz Show did the first interview with Get Involved! featuring past members of Thursday, Glassjaw, From Autumn To Ashes, Judge and more. The band discusses why they decided to start with a kickstarter, how they got together, and stories from years of touring.

LONDON – A line up such as this is rarely seen in the UK. Brand New, Thrice and Glassjaw are three bands that have never achieved mainstream success, but each has such a following that it only made sense that they would perform at the Wembley Arena.

This year is a milestone for the Vans Warped Tour, as the hard rocking fest enters its tenth year of carrying the post-punk banner. Footage of some of last year’s touring bands – including the Used, the Ataris, Sum 41, Glassjaw, Pennywise, Rancid, Thrice and Less Than Jake – will be included on Vans Warped Tour ’03, a DVD due on June 22nd.
