Pussy Riot‘s Nadya Tolokonnikova is known for making music that serves as a form of activism. It is now being said that she has been put on Russia’s Most Wanted List. The Russian group recently released live footage of a piece of theirs from last year titled “Putin’s Ashes”, where they destroyed a portrait of the Russian ruler Vladimir Putin. More than 10 years after the iconic Bamboozle festival packed away their gear for the last time in 2012, we now have day-to-day lineup details for their 2023 event (cue our uncontrollable excitement)! In January, Bamboozle announced their lineup via an old-school, faux Myspace page. Rather than leaning into the nostalgic emo era Myspace was famous for, the lineup includes a plethora of genres and performances. Tonic is a mental health charity for musicians that is gaining more attention and deserves even more. Babyshambles’ Adam Ficek recently spoke to NME about why Tonic is such an important resource to have.
