I met up with Matt, from Alkaline Trio while his band was on tour. We got into this conversation on their tour bus outside The Showbox Market in Seattle, Washington.
This weekend was heavy. So much fun was had but along with that.. a heavy realization that life has changed yet again. Joining me on my first night here at idobi Radio are my buddies, Poncho & Lefty. Ex-US Navy Seals turned contract Mercenaries with pure hearts of gold! These guys are the rockstars of the military world and I was and still am in awe after hearing so many of their seemingly endless experiences. This episode I have drummer Ben Hilzinger from the band Eve 6 and he also plays drums for the band Cannons. I met him before he was in either of these bands, we kept in touch and I met him through Mike Herrera of Mxpx. Ben and I have kept in touch over the years and I learn his story of how he came to LA from Washington to make a career as a drummer.
