Following their GRAMMY nomination for Best Metal Performance for “Cellar Door,” Spiritbox has announced their sophomore album, Tsunami Sea. The 11-track collection is slated to arrive on March 7, 2025, via Pale Chord in partnership with Rise Records. You can preorder and pre-save the record here.
Additionally, the group has shared a second glimpse into the album, following the release of “Soft Spine” earlier this year, with their latest single, “Perfect Soul.” An accompanying music video is scheduled to arrive today at 3 PM ET/12 PM PT, and you can tune in here for the premiere.
Opening with a throbbing guitar line and a hauntingly eerie vocal arrangement courtesy of Courtney LaPlante, “Perfect Soul” erupts through a maelstrom of relentless instrumentation. The track surges forward with tension and ferocity, blending melody with crushing intensity. If this track is any indicator of the strength of their forthcoming full-length album, it’s safe to say that Tsunami Sea is a strong contender for the 2025 Album Of The Year! Check out the “Perfect Soul” visualizer below.
