Supercharged emo superstar in the making, TX2, aka Evan Thomas, is back with a brand-new literally fiery single, “Burn.” Highlighting the hypocrisy present throughout much of modern Christianity, the artist urgently sings, “There’s no such thing as hell/But if there was/You’d be the first to burn,” over progressive metal instrumentals and orchestral strings. In a recent TikTok, you can see the artist walking through a church as it rises in flames.

The track arrives as the first single to follow up his recently-released Ghost Of LA EP, featuring the likes of “Degrade Me” and “Black Wedding.” Listen to the full track below.

TX2 says that 2024 is one for the books. “This year, I will have my revenge, and I wanted to start this year at the source,” he says. “The goal for this song was to write the most intense, rage-filled track that I possibly could, all it takes is one listen to understand.”

The artist continues by sharing, I’ve never felt more anger in my life while writing a song, and for anyone in their revenge era, I’m sure this track will hit hard.”

You can catch TX2 on tour in the U.S. on the NOAHFINNCE Growing Up On The Internet Tour this spring. Chase Petra and Teenage Joans will join him as support on the run. You can snag tickets to see the show(s) here.
