On April 27 in Las Vegas, Sick New World 2024 was the stuff of metal lovers’ dreams. The massive fest was full of surprises, including a Bring Me The Horizon and BABYMETAL crossover, System Of A Down dedicated “Lonely Day” to the late Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison, and more. Additionally, it was a fabulous day of firsts. Excitingly, Knocked Loose played the live debut of the recent single “Suffocate” featuring Poppy.

Poppy, who also recently collaborated with Bad Omens, came out to excited cheers screaming, “Eclipsing weight/Strangled by every mistake/Branded by all of your failures/A feeling that you can’t shake.” YouTube user Jae Cult shared the performance on their page. Check out “Suffocate” live from Sick New World below.

Poppy wasn’t the only metal heavyweight having fun at Knocked Loose‘s set. Lorna Shore‘s Will Ramos was also seen getting down in the pit.

Suffocate” as well as singles “Don’t Reach For Me” and “Blinding Faith” are set to appear on Knocked Loose‘s forthcoming album You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To, which arrives on May 10 via Pure Noise Records.

You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To Tracklisting:

  1. “Thirst”
  2. “Piece By Piece”
  3. “Suffocate” (ft. Poppy)
  4. “Don’t Reach For Me”
