Turnstile Throw First Pitch At Baltimore Orioles Game

Turnstile have been ticking off a whole load of bucket list items over the last few years. They’ve conquered Glastonbury and Coachella. They’ve supported blink-182 in arenas across the country. They have infiltrated the world of mainstream television and performed live on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. To burst out of the hardcore scene in such a way without losing any of the energy or values that helped you make your name in the first place is an incredible achievement. It means that everything is a celebration.

And the latest celebration comes in the form of them paying tribute to a Baltimore institution. That is their beloved Baltimore Orioles. The band were invited to throw the first pitch at their game against the Houston Astros on Tuesday night. Being fans of the team already, you can see just how much it meant to the band to be on the hallowed turf and hanging out with The Oriole Bird. It was guitarist Pat McCrory who had the honor of throwing the pitch and made it look easy.

You can check out footage of the pitch and the band hanging out, thanks to a fan who made their way to the game. Their TikTok can be viewed below. It’s really quite lovely. What a moment for both the band and the Orioles.

Turnstile released their latest album GLOW ON back in 2021, and it has gone from strength to strength ever since. It all started with the incredible short film “TURNSTILE LOVE CONNECTION”, which you can check out below:
