iDKHOW Drops Sarcastic New Groove “GLOOMTOWN BRATS”

I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME, often stylized as iDKHOW, has returned today with “GLOOMTOWN BRATS“, the second single from their forthcoming sophomore album GLOOM DIVISION. The record is slated to release on February 23rd of next year, and this new track follows the first single, “WHAT LOVE?” Both songs exemplify what this band does best. Groovy synths, funky guitars, and lyrics dripping with social commentary, “GLOOMTOWN BRATS” is a tune for any occasion.

Since iDKHOW’s inception, it has always been a project that has transcended music genres and time periods. Dallon Weekes being the mastermind behind it all, creates a sonic palette that blends 70’s and 80’s pop with a blanket of modernity. Upon first listen, it is nearly impossible to grasp what decade these songs may belong to. Every move within this project is perfectly calculated. From the music itself, to the visuals and branding, to the careful execution of live performances, it is timeless and prolific. iDKHOW proves this seamlessly with “GLOOMTOWN BRATS.”

“Writing has always been an outlet to exorcize your demons or difficult emotions, but with GLOOM DIVISION, I made a conscious effort to stop censoring myself when it comes to the subject material, or what I wanted to say,” Weekes shared on the new record.
