Remo Drive Announce New Album ‘Mercy,’ Drop Title Track

[Remo Drive by: Shun Matsuhashi]

Beloved Midwest emo duo, Remo Drive is back today to announce the release of their forthcoming full-length album, Mercy. Their fourth studio album will drop via Epitaph Records on February 23rd. In celebration of this exciting news, Remo Drive has given fans the title track, “Mercy” today along with a Western-inspired music video! The visual finds the band in full cowboy attire, performing amid a cornfield. The aesthetic choice to execute the video in black and white leans into the old-timey feeling of the song.

Mercy,” the single, follows two previous releases in anticipation of the album. “No, There’s No Hope For You” and “New In Town.” The group seems to be exploring a departure in sound from their usual emo style. Their debut album, Greatest Hits was an indie rock banger with hints of classic pop punk themes. The newest singles mix indie-pop with folk-rock elements and soar lyrically. This isn’t entirely shocking, however. Remo Drive has made a steady and natural progression in sound over their last two records, A Portrait Of An Ugly Man and Natural, Everyday Degradation.

Check out the album art and tracklist below! The band also recently announced a full US tour with support from Wilt. See the full list of dates below and snag your tickets here!
