The Plot In You has returned with a new single and accompanying music video for the raw, earnest track “Closure.” The song precedes the band’s forthcoming EP Vol. 2, which will arrive on May 3 via Fearless Records. Pre-orders are available here.

On January 12, the band released the Vol. 1 EP featuring the likes of the metamorphic “Left Behind” and grueling “Forgotten.” You can order the EP on vinyl here.

The Plot In You‘s latest release sees the band at one of their most vulnerable moments. “I know it’s falling apart/There’s nothing left of us/I guess I’m here because/I need some closure,” Landon Tewers sings in a melancholy tone. Check out the black-and-white-tinged, bloody “Closure” music video below.

Of the new song, the band explains, “‘Closure‘ is about the intricacies of loss and separation. Hoping the best for a loved one but being unable to continue on with their presence in your life.” So whether you’re dealing with grief, a breakup, or distance from a former friend, this song eloquently puts all of those feelings into words.
