half•alive have waved goodbye to their Persona era and are entering a new one with the arrival of “The Wolf” from their new EP, Billions, due out on August 28, via ARRO Records…aka Tyler Joseph‘s indie label.
In classic half•alive fashion, the new music video features incredible choreography that demands your full attention. Dressed in full suits and donning extra-long neckties, the ensemble seemingly explores themes of the corporate grind. In fact, some Instagram users even compared the music video aesthetics to that of Apple TV’s Severance.
The band earnestly sings, “Oh, wake up, wake up/Our hearts were born bankrupt/Fangs of the wolf/Sank in us from day one/We learned to kill/Taste blood on our taste buds.”
