Pure Noise Records Announces Stacked Cover Compilation


The Nashville-based punk rock label, Pure Noise Records has announced the second installment of their Dead Formats compilation albums. Dead Formats Vol. 2 will see many bands from the Pure Noise Records roster covering classic songs across the punk and rock genres. The album will drop on September 15th and holds an impressive fifteen tracks in total. So far, three tracks have dropped. Boston Calling Reveal 2023 Set Times Including Paramore, Foo Fighters, More


The annual Boston Calling festival will return for its ninth year at Harvard Athletic Complex this May. Spanning across three days, Boston Calling will be held Memorial Day weekend from May 26-28, and today, they have announced the set times for the upcoming three-day event. With anticipated headline performances from Foo Fighters (Friday, May 26), The Lumineers (Saturday, May 27), and Paramore (Sunday, May 28), there will be several major overlapping sets. Paramore‘s performance, which is scheduled to close out the festival on Sunday evening, will substantially overlap with Aussie rockers, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. Avril Wins Big At Juno Awards


At Juno 2005, the theme was pretty obvious – out with the old, in with the new. Gone from the winner’s circle were artists such as Shania Twain, Alanis Morissette, Barenaked Ladies and K.D. Lang. Instead, Avril Lavigne was queen bee and K-OS was crown prince at this weekend’s Juno Awards in Winnipeg. Both artists walked home with three trophies, tops for the event.
