On June 13, Foo Fighters premiered “Unconditional” for lucky attendees of their Emirates Old Trafford show in Manchester, England. However, the song is, by no means, “new.” In fact, it’s an unreleased demo that was never fully realized. A band representative noted, “The band’s rediscovery of ‘Unconditional’ happened in true spontaneous Foo Fighters fashion. The song came up in conversation during rehearsals for the UK tour, and all it took was one run-through. The decision was made instantly to share it with everyone in the same way — live.” Check out the live performance of “Unconditional” below, courtesy of @foofighterslive… Read more »

Split Chain is back with a new single, “Scatterbrain,” from the upcoming digital deluxe version of motionblur. The deluxe LP is set for arrival on all platforms on September 11 via Epitaph Records. “Like all of our other music, ‘Scatterbrain’ comes from personal experiences growing up that we’re sure everyone can relate with to some degree. It’s a song about the slow degradation of friendships, relationships, and family ties,” the band says. “How all of a sudden, when things can seem to be at their best, the other person in the relationship, friendship or the family member seems to stop pulling their weight. They start to get caught up in their own thing, get… Read more »

All single releases are set to appear on their upcoming album WIRED, due out May 8, via Run For Cover Records. Vocalist Andrew Fisher shares, “What started out as a love song quickly evolved into something a lot more ethereal. Alex was picking up on what I was saying in a far broader and otherworldly way. It’s about spending your whole life waiting to know, waiting to go, like the answer is always just out of… Read more »
