Your fave Midwest emos have some big news. American Football is celebrating 25 years of their iconic self-titled debut, aka LP1. The anniversary will be marked by the release of a remastered version of American Football and a covers album featuring Ethel Cain, Yvette Young, and more. Ahead of their appearance at Las Vegas’ Best Friends Forever Festival in October, Karate has officially announced that new music is on the way. On July 25, the Boston post-hardcore outfit officially dropped a double single— “Defendants” and “Silence, Sound.” Additionally, the “Sever” artists announced that their upcoming album Make It Fit will arrive out on October 18, via the Numero Group.
