Cisco Adler recently visited the idobi Radio Studios to chat with Fish on Gone Fishkin about the recent reopening of his iconic venue, The Roxy, and the passions that drive him as both a businessman and a musician. He is joined by friend and collaborator Medford. The Roxy, a 50-year-old venue in a 100-year-old building, has recently been revamped—or should we say revAMPed—through the installation of a new sound system. Twin Forks have announced tour dates for this spring on two separate tours in January and February. The band will kick off the new year with Jukebox, The Ghost on December 14th in Cleveland, Ohio, then head out on a second string of dates in mid-February with Lucero and Ryan Bingham. Twin Forks, fronted by Dashboard Confessional’s Chris Carrabba, are currently wrapping up the year on a tour supporting Counting Crows. In what may be an attempt to avoid Canada’s cold winter, Victoria indie-rock quartet Hot Hot Heat are heading to the land of beer and Beatles, to perform a one-off gig in London, England. According to nme.com, Canada’s garage rockers will perform at the Borderline on January 26, previewing some fresh tracks from their upcoming album Elevator, which is due for release in April.
