Following the release of their remix of “Hey There Delilah,” Plain White T’s have officially shared their studio session music video for “Surface Pressure.” The band’s cover of the famous Encanto track appears on Disney‘s A Whole New Sound compilation album, which dropped on September 6. The well-received tracklist of pop-punk covers includes Simple Plan‘s reworking of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from The Lion King, Magnolia Park‘s cover of “I2I” from A Goofy Movie, New Found Glory‘s rendition of “Part Of Your World” from The Little Mermaid, and many more. As Plain White T’s gear up to release their self-titled, full-length album on November 17 via Fearless Records, the enigmatic group has announced their forthcoming Fired Up North American 2024 headline tour. The foursome will be joined by Pollyanna for the entirety of the tour, which officially kicks off on January 23, 2024, in Spokane, WA, and will conclude on February 18, 2024, in Salt Lake City, UT. For me, I was just excited to share a similar interest with other people my age and to be able to talk about bands we enjoyed. I never realized how important it would be to see other people who looked like me on stage and behind the scenes.
