If you’re in the mood for a banger, then you’re in luck. Beauty School just shared the music video for “Reaper,” featuring The Wonder Years’ frontman Dan Campbell. While the song is a sweet and sour ode to the inevitability of death, the music video is more of a celebration of life. It sees the band members rocking out in a warehouse, joined by the reaper himself. It’s a smart and satirical take on a heavy topic, which is right up Beauty School’s alley. A match made in heaven, this collab is everything you never knew your emo-punk-loving soul needed.… Read more »
The Wonder Years, much like the TV show after which the band is named, have always been about tapping into real feelings, connecting with the audience, and making their fans feel like they’re not alone.
Dan Campbell’s solo project Aaron West and the Roaring Twenties dropped its first song today called “You Ain’t No Saint.”
A brand new episode of The Gunz Show is ready for your ears and this time around Gunz is bringing The Wonder Years and Souvenirs to the mic.
Dan “Soupy” Campbell of The Wonder Years calls in from his porch on a fall day to chat football, quarantine, and Halloween. The band has a spooky extravaganza planned for 10/30 and he digs into what we can expect, from a dueling blink-182 set to the merch bundles you can pick up.
Later, Tim Riley of Souvenirs calls in ahead of the bands upcoming release. Love For The Lack Of It drops on 10/23 and Gunz chats with Tim about the new music, his influences, and redefining success. Listen in now!
Always a pleasure speaking with my long time friend SOUPY from The Wonder Years. He discusses this Sunday’s Glamour Kills Holiday show at Webster Hall, how this is a celebration of the “scene,” and how lots of bands have made strides to make music that much better for all those involved, as well as discusses details (full band perhaps?) on the upcoming Aaron West and the Roaring Twenties shows he has planned in the next few weeks. And of course, new The Wonder Years talk as well. And the Eagles. Not the band. – Gunz
Dan “Soupy†Campbell of pop punk band The Wonder Years has launched a new interview series. The video series is called “Talking With Soupâ€, and will provide fans and bands alike with a new class of interviews.
Watch Dan “Soupy” Campbell’s acoustic performance of “Madelyn” at the Glamour Kills office.
Laura Jane Grace has officially dropped the gorgeously filmed “I’m Not A Cop” music video. The visual features herself and her wife, Paris Campbell Grace, portraying Reno 911 police officers “patrolling” the streets of Chicago, IL, where they live. “I’m Not A Cop” is pulled from LJG’s recently released Hole In My Head full-length record. Of the new release, she shares in an Instagram caption, “Are you a cop? Are you surrrrre you’re not a cop man?
