Ahead of their upcoming album Ever After, out October 24 via Pure Noise Records, Action/Adventure have unveiled a new single, “Something Isn’t Right Here,” featuring Dan Lambton (rationale., ex-Real Friends). The track arrives with a cheeky video skewering the grind of social media and engagement culture, complete with a spoof of Hot Ones reimagined as the faux Meet Sweats series hosted by Lambton.
Drummer Adrian Brown explains, “We don’t typically do a more electronic sound, but it adds something really special to the record. We were also able to get a huge chorus that I just can’t stop listening to.”
Vocalist/guitarist Brompton Jackson adds, “‘Something Isn’t Right Here’ blends heavy pop punk with electronic and post-hardcore elements we’ve never leaned into before. It’s also special because we finally got Dan on the track with us—something we’ve talked about for a long time.”
