Mr. Lyman was kind enough to mention my son’s band at 13:15 in – The Silver Comet. (My son is the bass player, Dustin Williams.) I thought the interview was entertaining and enlightening, and I so appreciate his efforts to promote all the genres of new music and new musicians. Music is, like any other industry, a business – and a business does need to be concerned with the bottom line. However, it seems to me that those efforts extend far past the music and the money to encompass a passion for caring, i.e., the canned food and used cell phone drive, a concern for the financial well-being of Warped Tour Fans, encouraging the “green” practices of the tour facilities, etc. My concerns may be inconsequential to most listeners, but as a mom sending her young son out on his first tour, it makes me feel better knowing Mr. Lyman appears to be a man of integrity. Thanks for doing this interview. Well done.
The Wonder Years are releasing their highly-anticipated third full-length The Greatest Generation next week, and we're stoked to be bringing you an exclusive in-depth interview with the whole band about the album and everything that went into it.
