16 Alternative Musician Costumes That Slayed Halloween 2023

Halloween is basically emo kid Christmas. It’s the season of the year where you can don silver chains and skull jewelry, create fake blood makeup, decorate your house with every single Jack Skellington item in existence, and more, without any questions from the normies of the world. Additionally, it’s the time when celebs such as Heidi Klum use their wealth for good and make elaborate, cool costumes such as this year’s peacock offering featuring 10 Cirque Du Soleil performers as her feathers. Shaquille O’Neal also had a standout costume, wearing a black wig with swoopy bangs and lip ring to… Read more »

Roe Kapara Unveils His Dance-Worthy New Single, “Fajita!”

In a tasty follow-up to his sugary-sweet September release, “The Dead Come Talking,” Roe Kapara has unveiled his feel-good, dance-worthy new single, “Fajita!” Accompanied by a kitschy lyric video that features Kapara hidden beneath a brown paper bag with an exaggerated frowning face on the front, Kapara is seen dancing with abandon in a bed of tiny yellow flowers, only further enhancing the groovy new track. “Fajita!” exudes an enchanting, effervescent aura, particularly evident in the track’s chorus, where Kapara whimsically croons, “Too silly/I’m too goofy for your touch/I need it/Fills me up/$450 paid for dinner at the bar/Fajita/Burn my… Read more »

Today is a big day for Lil Lotus. The pop-punk artist and rapper just announced his sophomore record nosebleeder, which will be released on December 1 via Epitaph Records. L.S. Dunes is a gift to alternative music, full of endless sonic surprises. Today, the quintet released their new single, “Old Wounds.” With haunting stillness, the band departs from the intensity of their 2022 LP Past Lives, taking a slower approach to the release without sacrificing any raw instrumentals. Though, this is in staunch contrast to Dunes’ preceding 2023 single, “Benadryl Subreddit,” which begins with a screaming Anthony Green, and chock-full of “desert energy.” Talk about range.  Read more: Boys Like Girls Reveal New Album ‘SUNDAY AT FOXWOODS’ For major fans of the Circa Survive and The Sound Of Animals… Read more »
